In the Norma Arm of the galaxy, a U.P.A. recon team of newbie pilots are exploring a mysterious signal coming from the planet Dykuma Prime. Petty Officer First Class Ember Riley scoures her assigned swath of terrain, doing her best to home in on the faint signal. After several passes through various mountains and canyons, the faint signal suddenly bursts loud and clear into the cockpit of her FC-320SI Siren. As she radios to her team that she has something on her radar, all of her instruments suddenly go dead. With no recourse, she maintains a controlled descent and crash lands on the surface.
As her ship smolders and burns, she grabs her emergency pack and manages to get to a safe distance before the Siren explodes in a ball of flame. Trained for emergency situations such as this, she sets up a distress beacon and awaits rescue. But the unbearable heat of the dry desert planet proves to be much too intense to just sit and wait, so she seeks shelter in a nearby cave with a cooler heat signature. Upon entering the cave, however, she realizes it isn’t a cave at all, but actually a man-made facility… and it has a horrible secret.
This is the account of Ember’s discovery in the abandoned facility on Dykuma Prime.
What is “The Dossier Series“?
The Dossier Series is the label applied to image sets, which feature character and story tie-ins to the Epoch Art comics.
